This explains a few simple differences between the Manpa Belt Cutter and the Multi Cutter, for both Master and Basic models.

1. This 2" Belt Cutter (aka Multi Extension Mini Carver), accepts all Manpa 2” Cutters
2. 3” Multi Cutter (aka Multi Extension Standard Carver), accepts all Manpa 3” and 4” Cutters
3. Both Master models come with three extensions: 8”, 10-1/2” and 14” (200mm, 270mm and 348mm) long
4. Both Basic models come with one extension which is 8” 200mm long but can be extended in length by the addition of the Connection Tool
5. The Connection Tool includes both extensions, 10-1/2” and 14” (270mm and 348mm) when you want to extend the length of either the Basic Master Cutter or Basic Belt Cutter
6. You can also increase your diversity to be able use the full arsenal of 2”, 3” and 4” cutters on either Cutter by including either the 2” Heador 3” Head.
7. The 2” Head is recommended for the 3” Multi Cutter. You will then be able to use the full range of round, triangle and square 3" & 4" Cutters in addition to all the 2” Cutters - on the Multi Cutter!
8. Similarly, the 3” Head is recommended for the Belt Cutter. You will then be able to use the full range of round, triangle and square 2” Cutters in addition to the full arsenal of 3" & 4" Cutters on the Belt Cutter.

Important Note on Proper Attachment of any Multi Extension Carver to Your Angle Grinder

Included in every Belt Cutter and Multi Cutter are two adaptor rings with 42.50mm and 44mm diameter, that Manpa found fit all grinders listed under SPECIFICATION AND FEATURES.  We also found that another size ring with 41.50mm, fits the KAT recommended FEIN angle grinder but is not included. This ring may also fit other 4½” grinders with a 41.50mm flange. Don’t get frustrated!  Please check beforehand and call KAT. If you own a Fein or another grinder with the same diameter flange, you’ll need this adaptor ring.
